Bicycle Decorating Contest
Saturday, July 12th, 2008 at 1:00pm - Thomas G. Alcorn School
Rules & Regulations:
· The Bicycle - Tricycle Decorating Contest is open to all children 12 years and under.
· Only tricycles and bicycles are to be decorated.
· No motorized vehicles play trucks, fire engines, etc.
· Judging will take place at the Thomas G. Alcorn School.
· Participants may decorate bikes at Alcorn School or bring bikes already decorated.
· Registration will begin at Alcorn School at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
· Judging will be completed by approximately 10:30 a.m.
· All participants are encouraged to be in the Parade, which begins at 11:00 a.m.
· Parents of younger children are asked to walk with their child in the parade.
· Parents can meet their children on the Town Green after the bikes have passed the parade announcer’s stand.
· The Bicycle Tricycle Decorating Contest is divided into two categories, 5-8 and 9-12 years old.
· All participants are required to wear a UL approved bicycle safety helmet.
Medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd will be awarded to the
MOST PATRIOTIC AND MOST ORIGINAL
