Taste of Enfield

Beer Garden

Honor our rich history of American Independence at one of the best parades in CT. See why we are honoring our local heroes with all the pageantry of military tributes, marching bands, floats, famous characters, and dignitaries galore!

Join us along Enfield Street from the Olde Enfield Town Hall and march two miles down Historic Enfield St. to the Town Green.

Some roads leading to Enfield Street begin to close between 10:00 AM and 10:30 AM, with the parade stepping off at 11:00 AM, so be sure to make preparations ahead of time.

Kids Events

Fun & Free. That's the way we serve it up for the kids year after year! From face painting to Lego-fun, and the jumbo moonwalk, your children will have a ball.

Open Friday from 5:00 - 7:00 PM and Saturday from 12:00 - 7:00 PM in the designated Kid's Play Area to the West of Town Hall, you will find tons of fun activities!

Craft and vendor fair

Visit our marketplace, where a variety of crafters and vendors have been invited to sell their merchandise. Stroll from tent to tent and see clothiers, jewelers, Men’s and Woman’s grooming products, candles, hand-painted birdhouses, butterflies, and dragonflies. There will be face painting and henna tattoos. After enjoying our marketplace, take time to relax on the lawn with food from the Taste of Enfield, listen to live music performed from the stage, and participate in several other activities. Spend the day and discover all the Enfield Fourth of July Town Celebration has to offer to you, your family, and friends.

There will be three days of Community events and two days of Community tables on the green in front of the Enfield Town Hall including softball games, community tables, basketball tournaments, and shows near the children's activity area!  Check out the schedule of events here!

Come check out your favorite non-profits and civic groups to get an update on their current progress, upcoming events, or just learn some more about how they serve the local communities.

Join us for a 5K run through Old Thompsonville Village along our NEW racecourse down historic Enfield Street! Racers (serious and recreational) come from all over New England to enjoy our event. We offer a great atmosphere, cash prizes, trophies, medals, refreshments, and fun.  Registration for the 5K race on the day of the race begins at 8:30 AM at the corner of North Main St and the Town Hall Access road on the Higgins Green.

We also offer a 1K race for kids under 14. Participants receive ribbons and the top finishers win medals. Watermelon and other refreshments are provided. Register on race day only for the kid's race.
